Home Our Story

A place in theAmerican imagination.

Golf is four and a half hours with your friends and a reason to be outside. We thought the drink in your hand ought to live up to that.

Hole 01 · The problem

Great taste. No identity.

Walk into any clubhouse cooler and you will find the same three things: light beer, a hard seltzer in a color that does not occur in nature, and a canned cocktail that tastes like it was formulated by a committee. All of them technically drinkable. None of them belonging to the game being played outside.

Meanwhile the drink golfers actually order (iced tea and lemonade, with or without something in it) has been on halfway-house menus for a century. It is the most golf drink there is. Nobody had put it in a can and done it properly.

So we did. Premium vodka, brewed black tea, real lemon, tupelo honey. Still, not fizzy. Finished, not a mixer. 5.9% so you can have a second one and still make contact.

We don’t sell a drink. We sell a moment.

Hole 02 · How we build

Four rules we refuse to break

The spec comes first

Every number on the can (5.9%, 12 oz, zero carbonation) was chosen so you can still play golf after the second one. We set the liquid, then we set the marketing. Never the other way round.

Real ingredients or none

Brewed black tea. Actual lemon. Tupelo honey, which costs more than the alternatives and is the reason the finish lands where it does. Premium vodka with natural flavors, and nothing you need a chemistry degree to read.

Made for the round, not the ad

Slim can so it fits a cart holder. Still, so it does not erupt on the sixth cart path. Shelf stable, so a clubhouse can actually keep it in stock. Function before flourish, every time.

Golf, not golf-washing

We are not a seltzer with a flagstick on the label. Hole in 1 was built from the tee box out, for the people who play eighteen, settle the bets and stay for one more.

Hole 03 · Who makes it

Brewed and canned in Pennsylvania

Hole in 1 is a Disco Beverage Inc. brand, produced and packaged by Boardroom Spirits, LLC in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, a working craft distillery, not a contract line that also runs energy drinks.

That relationship is the reason the liquid tastes the way it does. The tea is brewed rather than flavored in, the honey is dosed by hand at the blend stage, and every batch gets tasted before it gets canned.

Hole in 1 is one of two brands in the Disco Beverage portfolio. Its sibling, Robbie Dan’s, is an Original Bourbon Barrel Lemonade, Kentucky bourbon aged in toasted American oak, fresh-squeezed lemons and pure cane sugar, built for the dock, the tailgate and the long weekend.

Hole 04 · What’s next

One course at a time

The plan is not a national blitz. It is a focused march: win the courses, win the clubhouses, win the members who bring it to the lake house after. Retail follows golf, not the other way round.
